WL (Wallerstein Laboratory) Differential Broth is a selective medium used for the isolation and enumeration of bacteria associated with breweries and industrial fermentation. Most yeasts and moulds are inhibited by the addition of cycloheximide, facilitating the isolation of bacteria.
